Is a Massage the same as Reflexology?

Reflexology is not the same as a massage. Reflexology works through the stimulating of the reflex points or nerve endings to evoke an autonomic nervous system response which helps create balance throughout the entire body. Reflexology is considered a form of body work.

Having a massage is one of my time to reflect because I am through this kind of therapy, it relaxes my body. And by that I can’t help but to reflect from all the things and events that happened in my life. Though it is not the perfect time to reflect, I just used that time to reflect some of my problems in my life. As usual, I am there relaxing and not to worry about my life. I am setting it aside and after my massage I tried to find ways to reflect.

Your blog is really interesting. I really didn’t know that massage is different to reflexology, I thought they were the same. Massage can reduce physical pain of our body, it has a direct impact on the brain and neurons. Massage can help blood flow through the veins properly and it also helps to control the beat of our heart. While reflexology involves in acupuncture and acupressure. It involves more deep contact and deeper pressure on certain parts of the foot and resembles a caterpillar-like movement. It has been claimed that by pressing the reflex zones of our body. I am hoping to read a lot of your blogs.

I don't think these things are the same. It's pretty clear for me.
